Weekly group long runs in the Murrell’s Inlet area.
Weekly speed and plyometric drills at the Murrell’s Inlet Fitness Edge location.
Suggestions, advice, and handouts regarding training, race nutrition, running gear, and more.
Access to the Run 843 group Facebook page for questions, concerns, encouragement, and more.
The encouragement, motivation, and the cammraderie of your fellow Fitness Edge members and staff.
Why we started?
The idea for Run 843 was inspired by the fact that the Grand Strand area is home to a number of outstanding road races, including the Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon held every October, and the Myrtle Beach Marathon and Half Marathon held annually during early spring. The staff thought it would be great to not only encourage our members to participate in these local events, but to help guide them through the training process, while providing the encouragement and cammraderie of group training.
