Kelly has a number of certifications including:
- Certified CrossFit Instructor Level 1
- CrossFit Nutrition Certified
- CrossFit Gymnastics Certified
- CPR Certified – American Red Cross
Masters of the Science of Communication Studies
To this day, Kelly still remembers her first WOD, the “Filthy 50.” A rough start, no doubt, but “it taught me that I was capable of so much more than I knew, and it got me hooked on CrossFit.” At the time, Kelly was teaching yoga, group fitness, and personal training, and soon after her first taste of CrossFit, added the Nutrition Certification to her qualifications. She joined CrossFit Grand Strand as a yoga instructor in 2010, and spent two years developing strength and skill before completing the CrossFit Level 1 Certification in 2012 and the CrossFit Gymnastics Certification in 2013.
