Our JV Kickboxing program helps instill discipline and a hard work ethic in children. These classes are designed for children from the ages 5 – 13 and teach practical real life self-defense skills that will boost confidence and self-esteem.
A great way to encourage your child to be active. The class has exercises where children move to develop their strength, flexibility, coordination and cardiovascular endurance.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is THE BEST non-violent self-defense for children and teens. Children learn takedowns, falling, controls, and at the older ages, “tap-outs.” In these sessions, we take the punching/kicking element out of the equation and focus mainly on grappling. Through demonstration, students learn a series of techniques each day. After thorough preparation, our students implement the new technique in a controlled and supervised sparring session, where they have the opportunity to practice techniques against a resisting opponent.
Our CrossFit kids program is a modified version of our adult CrossFit class, customized to the specific needs and considerations of kids and teenagers. These classes are also designed to develop kids’ lifelong love of fitness and focus on the fundamentals of a healthy lifestyle. These fun and engaging workouts teach safe movement patterns and improve athletic performance.
JV Wrestling teaches the basic grappling movements of the first Olympic sport. This class includes takedowns and using the upper and lower body with exercises and drills designed to create the complete wrestler.
